Aster Lin (林詩恩)is a Taiwanese artist based between Taichung and Melbourne. Aster’s practice is centred on painting, exploring themes of migration, belonging, and identity. Drawing from personal experiences of living between places, her works reflect how movement and displacement shape emotional and spatial perception. Aster’s paintings adopt a quiet, restrained visual language. Beneath the calm surfaces lies a subtle sense of dissonance, expressing the unease, distance, and ambiguity that often accompany relocation and the search for home.
