Crystal Wu
Crystal Wu is a Melbourne-based artist working between Melbourne and Shanghai. Her mixed media practice is driven by an intuitive process of layering, erasure and material experimentation. Through abstraction, she explores the tension between spontaneity and restraint, creating works that are both expressive and contemplative. Her works have been exhibited in Australia and internationally.

Through bold colour contrasts and expressive gestures, this work explores tension, balance and renewal. The layered surface records a process of searching rather than certainty. It reflects how relationships are continuously woven through difference, change and shared experience, resonating with the exhibition’s exploration of connection across culture.
