Regina’s recent painting is a contemplative exploration of Eastern religious iconography, spiritual symbolism, and the silent power of introspection. At its centre are three bodhisattvas—figures of compassion and wisdom—rendered with serene expressions and enveloped in an intricate web of fine, flowing lines. Around them, symbols such as lotus flowers, serpents, and Dharma seals interlace and encircle, forming a visual rhythm that suggests both movement and stillness.
The composition is meditative in nature, inviting the viewer into a visual mantra—silent, yet resonant. Each element speaks to a spiritual language that transcends words, conveying the quiet vigilance of divinity and the echo of the soul’s journey. Rather than proclaiming a message outright, the work whispers—encouraging contemplation, reverence, and an intimate encounter with one’s inner power. Through this symbolic layering, Regina seeks to create a space for viewers to reflect, feel, and find peace.
 
Artist Bio
Regina (b. 2001) is a Melbourne-based visual artist whose work draws on dreamscapes, nature, and mystical symbolism to express intimate emotional states. As part of a new generation of emerging artists, her practice is characterised by delicate brushwork, poetic colour palettes, and an intuitive visual language that bridges the inner world with the mythic. Her paintings often explore themes of vulnerability, healing, and transcendence, transforming deeply personal experiences into symbolic and universal narratives.
Rooted in both emotional sensitivity and spiritual curiosity, Regina’s work invites viewers to reconnect with the softer, often overlooked dimensions of human experience. Living and working in Melbourne, she continues to develop a body of work that is both ethereal and grounded—invoking quiet strength, inner reflection, and a gentle sense of hope.
