The Human Experience I
Digital Art, 89× 126 cm, 2026
Artwork Statement
The Human Experience* explores the commodification of connection through the internet and social media. I am interested in how the digital oligarchy repackages human experience as a product — something to be consumed, performed, and increasingly automated. With the rapid emergence of artificial intelligence, this condition has intensified, raising urgent questions about what remains of intimacy, agency, and reality itself.
My practice draws on storytelling, internet culture, and speculative image-making to construct imagined worlds that feel both playful and unsettling. In this work, digital drawing becomes a way to reflect on how human experience is flattened, stylised, and circulated through contemporary platforms.
Within Distributed Worlds, the series responds to a reality in which connection is increasingly dispersed across technological systems that mediate how we see ourselves and each other. It asks what happens when fiction begins to feel more truthful than reality, and where that leaves us as human subjects within increasingly synthetic worlds.
